What I Think:
This is definitely a fun quick read for YA dystopian fans out there. The royalty who run the world that Kitty lives in can definitely rival or even top the evil minds that come from the leaders in Hunger Games or Divergent. And author Carter did a great job of offering some closure at the end of the book while keeping things wide open for future installments. I have one small criticism though…I had a hard time believing the relationship between Kitty and Benjy later in the book. I felt like there should have been more distance due to different circumstances – she looks like a completely different person for starters! Anyway, the plot is action-packed and this is a story you’ll plow through. Enjoy!
